Park May Berhad Launches WhatsApp Ticketing for Transnasional and Plusliner
January 14, 2026Park May Berhad, the operator of Malaysia’s leading intercity bus brands Transnasional and Plusliner, has officially launched a WhatsApp-based ticketing platform in collaboration with UIB.ai, a WhatsApp Business Solution Partner (BSP).
The new system allows passengers to search routes, purchase tickets, receive boarding passes, and access customer support directly through WhatsApp, without the need to download additional apps or create new accounts.

With this launch, Transnasional and Plusliner become the first public transportation operators in Malaysia to fully integrate ticketing and passenger support on WhatsApp—setting a new national benchmark for digital convenience in express bus travel.
Using a familiar messaging interface, passengers can instantly check routes, view seat availability, and complete secure ticket purchases. Upcoming phases of the platform will introduce QR-code digital boarding passes and enhanced live-agent support, further streamlining the end-to-end travel experience.
“A big part of innovation is meeting customers where they already are,” said Aiman Ibrahim, Chief Executive Officer of Park May Berhad. “As the first public transport operator in Malaysia to launch WhatsApp ticketing, we’re proud to set a new national standard for convenience. By using a platform Malaysians rely on every day, we’re making bus travel more accessible, effortless, and inclusive.”
Beyond improving passenger convenience, the WhatsApp ticketing platform is expected to reduce queue times at terminals, enhance operational accuracy, and accelerate digital adoption across a wide range of customer segments.
Muzzamel Mazidee, General Manager of UIB.ai, added, “Our partnership with Park May Berhad places Malaysia at the forefront of transport innovation. By combining conversational AI with the country’s most widely used messaging platform, WhatsApp, we’re redefining how passengers access and experience public transportation—securely, simply, and at scale.”
