Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy S26 FE, the latest addition to the Galaxy S26 family and the first device in the series to launch with One UI 9 from day one.

Designed to bring key Galaxy S-series experiences to more users, the Galaxy S26 FE focuses on three areas that matter most in everyday use — camera, Galaxy AI and all-day performance — while keeping the device thin and lightweight.

The Galaxy S26 FE will be available in Malaysia from 4 September 2026, starting at RM2,899 for the 128GB model.

A Camera Built for Capturing More

Samsung has upgraded the camera experience on the Galaxy S26 FE with an enhanced triple rear camera system and improved image processing.

One of the standout additions is My FanCam, a feature first introduced on Samsung’s latest foldable devices. It can automatically track a selected person and keep them centred in the frame as they move, making it useful for concerts, sports, events and other fast-moving situations.

For video recording, Super Steady with Horizontal Lock helps keep footage smoother and more level, even when you’re moving around while filming.

The Galaxy S26 FE also offers 3x optical zoom, giving users more flexibility when photographing subjects from a distance.

Selfie fans get an upgraded 12MP front camera, designed to capture more of the scene and make group selfies easier.

Samsung’s Nightography also makes its way into the device, helping users capture brighter and clearer images in low-light environments while preserving detail.

Editing Gets Smarter With Galaxy AI

Taking the photo is only part of the experience. Samsung is also putting more emphasis on what users can do after the shot has been captured.

With Photo Assist, users can edit images using natural-language prompts. This means you can make changes such as turning a daytime scene into a night scene, adding elements or restoring missing parts without having to manually work through complicated editing tools.

Edits can also be reviewed step by step, with the ability to revise or undo changes along the way.

For video creators, Gemini Omni can help create and edit video clips using photos and videos stored in the Gallery, making it easier to turn everyday memories into shareable content.

One UI 9 Makes Galaxy AI More Context-Aware

The Galaxy S26 FE is the first device in the Galaxy S26 family to launch with One UI 9, bringing a number of updated Galaxy AI experiences.

Samsung’s updated Now Brief is designed to provide more personalised information throughout the day. Users can customise their briefing cards, including information such as weather and wellness insights, and even create their own cards using a simple prompt.

Now Nudge has also been expanded to selected third-party apps and notifications. The feature can surface relevant suggestions based on what’s happening throughout the day, helping users turn information into actions with less effort.

Meanwhile, Circle to Search with Google has gained the ability to search for multiple items in an image at the same time.

That could be useful when you’re looking at a photo containing several products, objects or places and want to identify more than one item without performing separate searches.

4,900mAh Battery for a Full Day

The Galaxy S26 FE is equipped with a 4,900mAh battery, giving users more power to get through their day while maintaining its slim design.

With a 45W adapter, Samsung says the phone can reach up to 69% charge in around 30 minutes, helping users get back to their activities quickly when the battery runs low.

The device also features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate.

Whether you’re streaming videos, gaming, browsing social media or working on creative content, the high refresh rate is designed to deliver smoother animations and scrolling.

Easier Switching to Galaxy

Samsung is also making the transition to the Galaxy S26 FE easier with an upgraded Smart Switch experience.

Users moving from either Android or iOS can scan a QR code to wirelessly transfer their data, including passwords, passkeys, call history, accessibility settings and eSIM data.

The process is designed to reduce setup time without requiring additional apps.

For longer-term ownership, Samsung is promising up to seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates, allowing users to keep their device updated for years to come.

Samsung Care+ is also available for additional device protection, while a new Warranty and Care settings hub in One UI 9 makes it easier to access and manage care options.

Six Months of Google AI Pro

Adding more value to the package, Galaxy S26 FE buyers will also receive a six-month free trial of Google AI Pro, which includes expanded AI capabilities and 5TB of cloud storage.

Google AI Pro is normally valued at USD 19.99 per month, making the trial an additional benefit for users looking to explore more AI-powered tools.
