MR D.I.Y. Brings Bersama Satu Bazaar Back for Hari Kebangsaan 2026

Looking for somewhere to celebrate Hari Kebangsaan with good food, family activities and a little shopping? MR D.I.Y. is bringing back its popular Bersama Satu Bazaar for the third consecutive year, and this time the celebration is expanding beyond the Klang Valley.

Following the success of the 2024 and 2025 editions, Bersama Satu Bazaar 2026 will make its first appearance in Johor, giving even more Malaysians an opportunity to enjoy the Merdeka festivities with their families and communities.

The bazaar will take place at Sunway Pyramid Open Car Park from 28 to 31 August 2026, before heading south to Angsana Johor Bahru Mall from 11 to 13 September 2026.

According to MR D.I.Y. Senior Vice President of Marketing Alex Goh, bringing the event to Johor reflects the company’s focus on building stronger connections with the communities it serves, while also creating opportunities for local vendors and families.

A Bazaar Filled with Local Favourites

One of the main attractions will be Jalan Viral, which will feature 100 booths from local food and lifestyle vendors.

Visitors can explore a variety of Malaysian food, familiar hawker favourites and homegrown lifestyle brands, making it a chance to discover something new while supporting local entrepreneurs.

Meanwhile, Jalan DIY will offer everyday household essentials alongside a selection of snacks and drinks.

So whether you’re heading there for food, shopping or simply to soak up the Merdeka atmosphere, there should be plenty to explore.

Family Activities and Plenty of Fun

The bazaar isn’t just about shopping.

Families can head over to Jalan Fun, where interactive games and activities will be available throughout the event.

Younger visitors can also get involved in STEM Discovery workshops organised by Yayasan MR D.I.Y., offering children an opportunity to learn while having fun.

For those looking for something a little more hands-on with animals, a petting zoo will also be available.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, visitors can enjoy live cultural performances throughout the bazaar.

For those visiting the Klang Valley event, the celebration will culminate in a special Merdeka countdown and fireworks display on the evening of 30 August, setting the stage for Hari Kebangsaan.
