Samsung Electronics Showcases Next-Gen HVAC Innovations at MCE 2026
April 18, 2026Samsung Electronics took part in Mostra Convegno Expocomfort 2026, one of the world’s leading exhibitions for HVAC, renewable energy and water solutions, held at Fiera Milano. At the event, Samsung presented a comprehensive lineup of HVAC innovations across residential, commercial and smart building applications, including a joint showcase with FläktGroup for the first time.
The exhibition highlighted Samsung’s growing presence in the HVAC industry, demonstrating how its technologies are designed to deliver more efficient, connected and comfortable living environments. The booth was organised into dedicated zones such as EHS, WindFree, Chiller, DVM and SmartThings, allowing visitors to explore how each solution works together within a unified ecosystem.
A key highlight was the Bespoke AI WindFree Pro air conditioner, which introduces a refreshed design alongside enhanced personalisation features. The system incorporates Motion Wind technology, offering multiple airflow patterns ranging from powerful cooling to gentle, draft-free comfort. AI-driven modes further enhance the experience by adjusting airflow direction and intensity based on user presence and preferences. With AI Fast and Comfort Cooling, the unit automatically analyses environmental conditions to optimise performance, while AI Energy Mode helps reduce power consumption through smart usage insights via the SmartThings platform.
Samsung also showcased its all-in-one heat pump system within the EHS zone. Designed for year-round use, the system integrates heating, cooling and hot water supply into a single solution. By reusing heat generated during cooling for water heating and vice versa, it improves overall energy efficiency while supporting flexible operation across different climate needs.
For commercial environments, Samsung introduced a wide range of solutions including its latest DVM S2+ VRF system. Equipped with R32 refrigerant and built-in safety features, the system also leverages AI to optimise performance based on surrounding conditions, helping reduce energy usage. The showcase was further strengthened by FläktGroup’s portfolio, which includes air handling units, chilled beams and fan coil units tailored for large-scale facilities such as data centres.
Connected solutions were another major focus, with Samsung demonstrating how SmartThings Pro enables seamless control and monitoring across multiple devices. From energy insights to integrated system management, the platform is designed to simplify operations for both residential and commercial users.
Through its participation at MCE 2026, Samsung reinforced its commitment to advancing HVAC technologies that combine performance, efficiency and intelligent connectivity, paving the way for smarter and more sustainable environments.
