Lazada Unveils the Inaugural LazMall Super Category Day, Focused on Suncare

Scheduled to take place in Malaysia on 27th July, the LazMall Super Category Day promises to be a groundbreaking event in the world of online shopping. Unlike any other campaign in the eCommerce industry, this event shines a spotlight on a specific product category, providing shoppers with an exceptional opportunity to explore and purchase the finest products at attractive prices.
The LazMall Super Category Day will kick off with a focus on suncare products, an increasingly popular category within LazBeauty – the beauty destination on Lazada. With rising temperatures across Southeast Asia, the demand for suncare products has surged, recording over 50% year-on-year growth in 2022 alone. This significant trend has motivated Lazada to launch this innovative campaign, offering both brands and consumers an enhanced shopping experience.

For the debut of LazMall Super Category Day, Lazada has collaborated with top brands such as Anessa, La Roche Posay, L’oreal Paris, Shiseido, and Supergoop! to create engaging and educational content. This content will help shoppers make informed decisions and select the best suncare products tailored to their specific needs.
The educational content will be available within the Lazada app and will also be delivered through LazLive, the in-app live streaming feature. The goal is to educate shoppers about the proper use of suncare products to maximize their effectiveness. During the campaign, viewers can tune in to LazLive episodes on the 26th and 27th of July, where the host, Ika Nabella, and beauty expert, Sarra Afiqah, will cover a wide range of topics based on consumer interests. These topics include the right application techniques and suitable product pairings for different skin types. For the first time ever, dedicated LazLive suncare content will be available under the Super Category Day LazLive tab.
As part of the LazMall Super Category Day, Lazada invites customers to explore a diverse range of sunscreen products catering to different skin types and preferences. Shoppers can enjoy attractive promotions of up to 50% on top suncare products from Lazada’s partner brands, making it the perfect opportunity to stock up on essential suncare items.
