HMD has officially become FC Barcelona’s Global Partner and Official Mobile Phone Partner. This collaboration covers FC Barcelona’s sports teams, including basketball, futsal, handball, and roller hockey, strengthening HMD’s presence across key venues and digital platforms over the next three years. This partnership goes beyond a commercial agreement, celebrating passion, creativity, and the spirit of the game by enhancing fan experiences through cutting-edge technology.

As part of this deal, HMD will benefit from digital advertising at the Olympic Stadium and later at Spotify Camp Nou, as well as across FC Barcelona’s digital platforms, which reach over 468 million people globally. To celebrate, HMD launched a video featuring celebrity barber Saul Peregrina, where a Barça fan gets a haircut blending the club’s crest with the HMD logo, highlighting the HMD Skyline’s features.

Following the Skyline, HMD is launching the HMD Barbie™ Phone, a retro flip phone combining style and nostalgia. This chic pink phone features a front mirror for touch-ups on the go and will launch in Malaysia on 25 October 2024 at RM599.

The HMD Barbie™ Phone includes two interchangeable covers, inspired by the 1992 Totally Hair Barbie™ and a classic “shooting heart” design.
