SUBANG, 4 May 2026 – Impeccable Vintage Properties Sdn. Bhd. (IVP), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Khazanah Nasional Berhad, has officially launched its state-of-the-art aerospace facilities at the IVP Complex, located within the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (SZB).

The opening marks a major milestone in Malaysia’s aerospace growth story, specifically enhancing the nation’s Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) capabilities. This development aligns with the Malaysia Aerospace Blueprint 2030, positioning Selangor and Malaysia as the preferred regional hub for high-value aviation businesses in Southeast Asia.

A Strategic Hub for Aviation Giants

The IVP Complex is already home to several industry leaders, creating a robust world-class aviation ecosystem. Key tenants and operators include:

  • Malaysia Airlines Berhad Engineering Services (MABES)
  • Base Maintenance Malaysia (BMM)
  • GE Aerospace Engine Services Malaysia (GEESM): A designated Centre of Excellence for LEAP engines.

The complex also features Subang Airport’s only dedicated engine ground run (EGR) bay, specifically designed for on-wing engine testing and capable of accommodating widebody aircraft.

Official Launch and Industry Impact

The ceremony was officiated by YAB Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, Menteri Besar of Selangor, and attended by YB Ng Sze Han, Selangor EXCO for Investment, Trade, and Mobility. Also in attendance was Datuk Hisham Hamdan, Chief Investment Officer of Khazanah Nasional Berhad.

During the event, Mr. Abdul Offar Musa, CEO of IVP, highlighted that the facility is designed to meet the soaring demand for hangar capacity.

“Beyond providing physical infrastructure, our focus is on delivering industry-ready facilities that will enhance Malaysia’s competitiveness as a regional MRO hub,” said Mr. Abdul Offar.

Future Expansion and Sustainability

The development of the IVP Complex is far from over. Refurbishment works on the remaining hangar are currently underway, with completion targeted for end-2026. Future enhancements will include:

  • Installation of a specialized tele-platform and advanced hangar door systems.
  • The operationalisation of a component workshop and storage facility.

In addition to industrial excellence, IVP is committed to responsible development. The complex incorporates energy-efficient systems, enhanced water management, and proactive flood mitigation measures to ensure long-term operational resilience.

Economic Outlook

The rejuvenation of these facilities signals strong global confidence in Subang as a strategic aerospace corridor. By attracting leading international players, the IVP Complex is poised to create high-skilled employment opportunities and generate a significant economic spillover across the local supply chain.
