March 2, 2025Samsung has unveiled its latest Galaxy A series smartphones—Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G, and Galaxy A26 5G—bringing Awesome Intelligence to more users. For the first time, the Galaxy A series integrates AI-powered features, enhanced durability, and advanced security, ensuring a smarter, safer, and longer-lasting mobile experience.

Awesome Intelligence, powered by One UI 7, introduces AI tools to enhance creativity and usability. Google’s Circle to Search returns with new capabilities, allowing users to instantly recognize phone numbers, email addresses, and URLs with a single tap. Users can also identify songs playing on their phone or nearby by simply long-pressing the navigation bar and tapping the music button.
Advanced Camera Features for Creativity
The new Galaxy A series features a powerful triple-camera system, including a 50MP main camera across all models. The Galaxy A56 5G and A36 5G offer 10-bit HDR selfie recording, while the A56 5G includes a 12MP ultra-wide lens for stunning landscape shots.
Exclusive to Galaxy A56 5G, the Best Face feature lets users combine the best expressions from a motion photo, ensuring a perfect group shot. Low Noise Mode enhances Nightography by improving low-light performance on the 12MP selfie camera and wide camera. Additionally, the Object Eraser allows users to remove unwanted elements from photos, while custom filters enable personalized edits.
Longer Lifespan with Upgraded Displays & Software Support
Samsung has extended software support with six generations of Android OS and One UI updates and six years of security updates, ensuring a smooth and reliable experience for years.
The Galaxy A56 5G and A36 5G now feature a larger 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 1200 nits brightness for a vibrant and immersive viewing experience. Stereo speakers deliver richer sound, while a 5,000mAh battery with 45W Super Fast Charge 2.0 ensures all-day power.
Stronger Build with Water & Dust Resistance
For the first time, the Galaxy A26 5G comes with IP67 water and dust resistance, matching the A36 5G and A56 5G. Additionally, a Corning® Glass cover provides extra protection against scratches and cracks.
Enhanced Security & Digital Key Feature
Samsung is strengthening security with Samsung Knox Vault, offering enhanced theft detection and more security settings. The Digital Key feature, available on the A56 5G and A36 5G, allows users to unlock compatible smart locks, with availability expanding to more markets soon.
