Hada Labo is bringing an early touch of Raya joy to underserved communities through its “Beraya Lebih Bergaya” grooming workshop, part of the brand’s ongoing ‘Sending Love and Care to Society’ corporate social responsibility initiative. Now in its seventh year, the programme continues to create meaningful impact by empowering women with practical skills, confidence and opportunities to improve their wellbeing ahead of the festive season.

Designed with a focus on self-confidence and personal care, the workshop was held in collaboration with Women of Will, offering participants hands-on guidance in basic skincare routines and everyday grooming. From proper cleansing techniques to maintaining healthy skin habits, the session aimed to equip women with knowledge they can apply in their daily lives while encouraging a stronger sense of self-worth and confidence.

Beyond grooming, the initiative also ensured that participants could celebrate Hari Raya with dignity and joy. Each woman received a sponsored Baju Raya outfit, giving them not only something new to wear for the occasion but also a renewed sense of pride and excitement. For many, it marked a meaningful moment of being seen and supported, especially during a time that emphasises togetherness and celebration.

The programme extends its impact further by creating income opportunities within the same community. Selected underserved women were commissioned to sew 160 sets of Baju Raya, which will then be distributed to others in need. This approach not only provides financial support for the tailors but also strengthens community ties, creating a cycle of giving that benefits multiple groups at once.

According to Hada Labo, the initiative reflects a more holistic approach to empowerment, combining self-care education, skill-building and community contribution. Over the years, the ‘Sending Love and Care to Society’ campaign has continued to evolve, focusing on practical and relevant ways to uplift women while addressing real-life challenges they face.

Representatives from both Hada Labo and Women of Will highlighted how the collaboration has helped participants gain new skills, build confidence and contribute meaningfully to their communities. By focusing on both personal development and economic opportunities, the programme aims to create lasting change that goes beyond a single event.

Since its inception, the initiative has reached hundreds of women and families across Malaysia, reinforcing Hada Labo’s commitment to inclusive and purposeful community support. Through efforts like this, the brand continues to show that meaningful impact is not just about giving, but about empowering individuals to grow, contribute and move forward with confidence.
