The vivo V30 Pro is a flagship device with numerous features to love. This is my first review of this smartphone for the Babbling Channel, and I’m excited to share a detailed analysis with our readers.

Design
The smartphone’s weight is 188 grams, making it super slim and lightweight. This will be the first thing you notice when you hold it in your palm.
The vivo V30 Pro is a dual-glass smartphone, with both front and back panels equally curved along the long edges. The screen is protected by a sheet of Schott Alpha glass, ensuring its safety from scratches and minor impacts. The rear glass has a matte finish and features a multi-layered design, with its appearance varying depending on the color option you choose.
The frame of the vivo V30 Pro is made of glossy plastic. However, according to Vivo, there is an aluminum alloy underneath the plastic around all four corners for reinforcement and shock absorption.
The V30 Pro also boasts IP54 ingress protection, providing extra peace of mind against dust and water splashes. The V30 Pro is available in two color variants: Bloom White and Noble Black. The smartphone I am reviewing is Bloom White. It does not look completely white; it has a subtle tint of baby blue, and under certain lighting conditions, you can see a petal design.
Display
The screen design of the vivo V30 Pro features a 3D curved display, giving the smartphone a premium look. The main display is a 6.78-6.78-inch AMOLED, which ensures a vivid and sharp viewing experience, even under direct sunlight. At first glance, the vivo V30 Pro may appear simple, but its elegance becomes evident when you explore its camera features and experience the outstanding performance and intricate details the smartphone offers.
Camera
The vivo V30 Pro boasts a ZEISS triple main camera, with both the primary and rear cameras featuring a remarkable 50MP resolution, making them easy to remember. Additionally, the standout feature is the Aura Light Portrait 3.0, which enhances your photography experience.
Main Camera 50MP VCS True Colour
The vivo Camera-Bionic Spectrum (VCS) technology enhances color accuracy to closely resemble human eye perception. The sensor offers flagship-level light sensitivity, ensuring clear pictures with natural colors. As you can see from my effortlessly taken photo, just one click and the camera does the rest.
For night photography, the combination of autofocus (AF) and Aura Light allows you to capture stunning shots, showcasing your moves beautifully even in low light conditions.
Ultra Wide-Angle camera 50MP AF
Here is a picture I took using the wide-angle lens on the vivo V30 Pro. With its remarkable 50MP autofocus capability, the wide-angle lens offers a 119-degree field of view, allowing me to capture stunning landscapes effortlessly.
The camera’s zoom functionality starts at 0.6mm and goes up to 20 times magnification. The best results for zoomed-in video are achieved during the day, as the clarity and detail are significantly better compared to night shots. At night, you might experience some blurriness and a lack of sharpness. Additionally, the lens takes a bit of time to zoom in fully, so patience is required to reach the maximum zoom level.
For night photography, the vivo V30 Pro excels thanks to its Aura Light feature. There’s no need for me to elaborate much—just enjoy capturing stunning night shots. The Aura Light automatically adjusts the color tone to ensure your photos look as impressive as those taken by a professional photographer.
The Highlight Portrait Camera 50MP
This is my favorite topic, and the V30 Pro has numerous features that can make your portraits truly stand out.
The V30 Pro boasts four times the pixel count compared to previous 12MP portrait cameras and offers two times optical zoom for capturing stunning close-up shots. When taking portraits, you should explore the bokeh flare options, which allow you to choose from various effects like cinematic flare or cine flare. For instance, the photos I took using these features turned background light bulbs into beautiful teardrop shapes.
Owning the vivo V30 Pro means having access to features that are not commonly found in other brands. One standout aspect is that you don’t need to download extra apps for beauty touch-ups. The V30 Pro includes built-in beauty enhancements, allowing you to select preferred postures and make adjustments before taking a photo, which is especially appealing to many users.
Another feature you must try in portrait mode is the wide range of styles and filters. Here’s an example of a photo I took using these filters. If I love the results, I’m confident you will too, and you’ll understand why I highly recommend experimenting with these features.

Smooth Envision: Seamless Experience, Every Time
Funtouch OS 14 prioritizes user privacy and security while enabling device sharing. The new Smart Mirroring feature allows users to share their screens without the notification bar revealing personal information. Moreover, hidden photos are now protected by an additional password verification step.

The V30 Pro, powered by the Dimensity 8200 and equipped with 12GB of RAM, delivers smooth performance across daily tasks. Whether you’re browsing or opening multiple apps, you won’t experience any lag, and the performance is consistently fast.

The V30 Pro features a 5000mAh battery and comes with 80W FlashCharge, providing optimal power for more than a day’s usage, even when using the full camera features with the aura light. With the 80W FlashCharge, it takes less than 46 minutes to charge the battery fully.

If you love photography and have some extra money to spend, you must consider the vivo V30 Pro. You won’t regret purchasing this smartphone. Having reviewed several flagship devices, this is my first experience with Vivo, and I must say, I am impressed with the unique features you’ll discover while using this device.
For the price you’re paying, the 12GB RAM offers excellent value for money. Additionally, the aura lighting ensures you won’t face any challenges in low-light situations.
