In an age defined by e-commerce and digital interactions, retailers and organizations alike are reimagining the concept of consumer experiences. As online shopping becomes more accessible, retailers are seeking ways to provide value beyond mere transactions, while companies aim to enhance collaboration and productivity in office spaces. A common thread runs through both scenarios—the increasing expectation for engaging and sustainable experiences. The demand is for interactions that inspire rather than exhaust.

Leslie Goh, Regional Head of Display for Samsung Electronics in Southeast Asia & Oceania, emphasized the role of display technology in this transformation. “At the center of new customer experiences lie compelling content and services presented on high-quality and connected visual displays,” Goh explained. For instance, digital signage at a self-service bubble tea kiosk delivers real-time information to inspire purchases, while interactive displays in workplaces provide immersive experiences for both physical and virtual participants.

Samsung’s commitment to this display evolution is evident in its partner ecosystem, consisting of technology providers, solution developers, and audio-visual system integrators. In Southeast Asia and Oceania (SEAO), the company has collaborated extensively to shape the next generation of premium display experiences across various settings, from offices to retail outlets, hospitality venues, and more. Samsung’s investment in six Executive Briefing Centers (EBCs) across the region showcases their diverse display solutions, enabling customers to witness firsthand how these technologies can elevate their interactions.

One of the recent showcases was at InfoComm Asia 2023, held in Bangkok, Thailand. Samsung collaborated with regional partners to present cutting-edge audio-visual experiences tailored to back-to-office needs and enhanced customer interactions. Examples included immersive meeting experiences through Samsung’s visual solutions paired with video conferencing setups and versatile audio-visual environments managed by Creston’s control systems.

Samsung’s video wall displays, such as the VH55R-R with slim bezels and wide viewing angles, provided sleek and seamless visuals for open office spaces. In huddle and meeting rooms, Samsung’s QMB and QMR series of digital signage displays, featuring Quantum Processor 4K, delivered lifelike color variations for productive presentations.

Notably, HARMAN, a subsidiary of Samsung, demonstrated seamless integration between Samsung visual displays and audio solutions. A highlight was the Samsung The Wall All-In-One (AIO), a 146-inch display with deep blacks and Ultra Chroma technology. HARMAN’s brand video showcased the stunning visuals that can be achieved with this display, which offers easy installation and setup.

As Samsung continues to collaborate with partners and leverage its EBCs, the company remains dedicated to creating innovative display solutions that cater to the evolving expectations of digital experiences.
