Skechers Returns to KLFW 2025 with Bold Streetwear Showcase and New Sneaker Launch
August 8, 2025Skechers, The Comfort Technology Company™ and a global leader in lifestyle and performance footwear, made a powerful return to Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) 2025 with an energetic runway presentation that fused cutting-edge style with all-day comfort.
Held at the iconic central concourse of Suria KLCC, the showcase attracted over 450 fashion insiders, media, and influencers. Directed and styled by renowned stylist Min Luna, the show delivered a cohesive, trend-forward visual experience.
Spotlight on Local Collaboration: Skechers x MSYD
At the heart of the show was Skechers’ exclusive collaboration with Malaysian designer Masyadi Mansoor (MSYD). Bringing raw streetwear energy and modern edge, the Skechers x MSYD Collection reimagines comfort-first apparel through the lens of local street culture.
MSYD, known for his bold, layered silhouettes, designed three exclusive key pieces for the collection:
- Long Sleeve Shirt – RM299
A refined streetwear essential with structured tailoring and relaxed fit, ideal for dressing up or down. - Raglan Sleeve Tee – RM219
A minimalist tee with contrast sleeves, bold co-branded print, and breathable comfort. - Sling Bag – RM289
An oversized quilted silhouette blending fashion and function with street-ready appeal.
“This collaboration gave me the freedom to create something raw, expressive, and always moving,” said MSYD. “Every detail was designed to reflect real, everyday wear—but with attitude.”
Debut of Skechers Hotshots Collection
Skechers also unveiled its latest lifestyle sneaker line — the Hotshots Collection — inspired by retro court style and updated with streetwear aesthetics. Launching officially at KLFW, the line features:
- Duraleather and suede overlays
- Air-Cooled Memory Foam® insoles
- Three key silhouettes: Pyke, Kickoff, and Cool Glow
Built for men and women on the move, the Hotshots line brings comfort, durability, and standout design to everyday streetwear.
A Style-Forward Shift
In addition to the MSYD collaboration and Hotshots debut, the KLFW presentation featured curated runway looks styled by Min Luna, highlighting key lifestyle favourites:
