Speaking at the summit, Teo Nie Ching, Deputy Minister of Communications, emphasized the importance of initiatives like Lazada’s in advancing the government’s 13th Malaysia Plan (RMK13).

Lazada announced the rollout of AI-powered solutions designed to simplify the seller journey—from onboarding to business scaling. These tools provide real-time insights and automate repetitive tasks, helping sellers “break zero” faster and stay competitive in a dynamic market.
The platform also unveiled upgrades to its seller support ecosystem, including strategic subsidies, advanced analytics, and enhanced fulfillment capabilities aimed at driving conversions and sustainable growth.
Spotlight on Creator-Led Commerce
Reflecting the rise of social commerce, the summit featured a creator-led commerce session with prominent influencers and top Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), who shared tips on building authentic campaigns, understanding evolving consumer behaviour, and leveraging creator partnerships to drive engagement.
