Samsung Malaysia Revises Pricing for Galaxy A07 and Galaxy A17 Series

Samsung Malaysia has officially announced a revision to the recommended retail prices (RRP) of the Galaxy A07 and Galaxy A17 smartphone series. The new pricing took effect on 27 July 2026.

According to Samsung, the price adjustment is driven by the continued rise in global component costs, particularly memory chips and RAM. The increasing demand for AI infrastructure and data centres has significantly impacted the supply and pricing of these essential components, resulting in higher manufacturing costs across the consumer electronics industry.

Samsung said it has worked to absorb these additional costs for as long as possible to minimise the impact on consumers. However, current market conditions have made a price revision necessary.

Despite the adjustment, Samsung reaffirmed its commitment to delivering value through the Galaxy A series by offering reliable performance, improved durability, enhanced software experiences and long-term security updates.

Galaxy A users will also continue to benefit from Samsung’s ecosystem features, including Samsung Wallet, which provides fast, secure and convenient digital payment experiences for everyday use.
