Samsung and Nexon Team Up to Redefine 3D Gaming in The First Berserker: Khazan

By leveraging Samsung’s cutting-edge technology and the advanced capabilities of the Odyssey 3D monitor, the game’s visuals are being specially optimized to create a truly immersive 3D world.
Through this collaboration, Samsung, Nexon, and Neople are fine-tuning the game’s 3D elements, ensuring precise adjustments to character designs, backgrounds, and cinematic sequences. This meticulous approach gives developers an unprecedented level of control over 3D effects, allowing them to enhance the depth and realism of the game.

By optimizing focal distances for each scene, Nexon and Neople have developed a method to determine when and how specific elements transition into 3D. This reduces crosstalk—an issue that causes visual overlap—while enhancing clarity in intense boss battles and cinematic cutscenes.

The First Berserker: Khazan is a hardcore action RPG that lets players step into the legendary journey of Khazan, fully immersing themselves in the Dungeon & Fighter universe. The game is set for a global release on March 28 (KST).
Meanwhile, the award-winning Odyssey 3D monitor, unveiled at CES 2024, will be available worldwide in April, bringing next-level 3D gaming technology to players everywhere.
