
LazBeauty KL International Beauty Week
November 26, 2023The KL International Beauty Week (KLIBW) 2023, powered by LazBeauty by Lazada and Tourism Malaysia, was a resounding success, captivating nearly 18,000 beauty enthusiasts, content creators, and media at the Mid Valley Exhibition Center (MVEC). The two-day extravaganza, featuring Lazada Brand Ambassadors Nora Danish and Anna Jobling, along with other luminaries like Marion Counter and Amber Chia, showcased over 150 international and local homegrown beauty brands.
Both on-ground at MVEC and virtually through LazBeauty, Lazada’s in-app beauty destination, the event engaged participants in a seamless offline-to-online experience. Irene Cheah, Chief Marketing Officer of Lazada Malaysia, expressed gratitude for Lazada’s role, emphasizing the event’s significance in uniting the vibrant beauty community and spotlighting LazMall’s beloved beauty brand partners.
Lazada’s commitment to revolutionizing the online beauty shopping experience was highlighted, with AI- and AR-powered tools like My Beauty Profile, Skin Test, and Virtual Try-On. The Try & Buy option further enhanced customer satisfaction, allowing users to sample products before committing to full-sized purchases.

Participating LazMall brand partners at KLIBW 2023 reported substantial sales growth, some experiencing a 2x uplift, attributed to LazBeauty vouchers, special discounts, and engaging on-ground activities. Beauty enthusiasts relished the event’s offerings, from lucky draws and beauty expert sessions to The Beauty Stage’s meet-and-greet with celebrities, makeup demonstrations, and skincare clinics.


For those unable to attend in person, Lazada’s LazBeauty paradise beckoned online, offering a diverse array of beauty inspirations and products from luxury skincare to affordable beauty essentials.
