When German para-sprinter Johannes Floors was fitted with his first pair of running prosthetics at 18, it marked his return to running since his amputation at 16. This new beginning offered him a blank canvas, opening up possibilities and allowing him to experience something he hadn’t realized was missing for the first sixteen years of his life.

Driven by curiosity and determination, Johannes mastered the basics. However, it is his meticulously engineered training, discipline, and desire to make an impact that has shaped him into the world-class para-sprinter he is today.

Now, Johannes aims to change perceptions of prosthetics, spark discussions within the Paralympic community and beyond, and inspire the next generation, all while navigating his path forward.
