DJI Malaysia Partners with Sepang International Circuit to Capture the Thrill of Motorsport

DJI Malaysia is bringing that energy closer to creators and fans through its new partnership with Sepang International Circuit, becoming the Official Sepang International Circuit Action Camera Partner.
The collaboration combines DJI’s camera technology with the excitement of motorsport, giving visitors new ways to capture not just what happens on the track, but also the atmosphere and memories surrounding a race weekend.
Capture the Entire Race-Day Experience with DJI Osmo 360 II
At the heart of the collaboration is the newly launched DJI Osmo 360 II, designed for creators who want more freedom when capturing fast-moving scenes.
Unlike a conventional action camera where you need to decide your framing before recording, the Osmo 360 II allows users to capture the surrounding scene in a single 360-degree recording and choose the preferred angle afterwards.
That means you can include the racing action, your own reactions and the atmosphere around you in the same recording, without having to worry about pointing the camera perfectly at the right moment.
For a busy race weekend, this could be particularly useful when the action moves quickly and there is simply no time to keep repositioning the camera.
Built for Speed, Movement and Changing Light
The DJI Osmo 360 II is equipped with native 8K/60fps 360° video, a 1-inch square HDR imaging sensor and up to 14.5 stops of dynamic range.
These specifications are designed to help creators capture more detail across different lighting conditions — from bright outdoor track action to the changing atmosphere as the sun goes down.
For low-light shooting, AI SuperNight 2.0 is designed to improve footage after sunset.
The camera also features ultra-hard replaceable lenses and 105GB of built-in storage, giving users more flexibility when spending a full day at the circuit without constantly worrying about storage space.
One Recording, Multiple Stories
One of the interesting advantages of a 360-degree camera is being able to create different shots from the same recording.
The Osmo 360 II’s Spotlight Follow keeps a selected subject centred in the final video, while Dual Recording allows creators to capture themselves and the surrounding environment in the same take.
There are also several creative shooting modes for creators who want to experiment with motorsport content, including:
- 4K/240fps 360° slow motion for fast-moving action
- 16K 360° Timelapse for capturing the atmosphere around the circuit
- 8K/120fps Vortex for more dramatic movement effects
This gives creators more options to turn one race-day experience into multiple social media videos and perspectives.

Customers who purchase a DJI Osmo series product during the campaign period will stand a chance to win tickets to the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia 2026, taking place from 2 to 4 October 2026 at PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit.
The giveaway winners are scheduled to be announced on 29 September 2026.
