Sony Introduces REON POCKET 6 and REON POCKET PRO Plus in Malaysia

Sony has expanded its wearable thermo device lineup with the introduction of the REON POCKET 6 and the new flagship REON POCKET PRO Plus, offering users a smarter and more personalised way to stay cool or warm throughout the day.

Designed to be worn comfortably around the neck, the REON POCKET series uses thermal technology to directly cool or warm the skin at the point of contact. Whether commuting to work, spending time outdoors, or moving between different indoor environments, the devices are built to help users maintain a comfortable body temperature without relying solely on air conditioning or fans.

The sixth-generation REON POCKET 6 introduces Sony’s newly developed Compact DUAL Thermo Module, bringing improved cooling performance while maintaining a compact form factor similar to its predecessor.

By combining a new cooling algorithm with dual thermo modules that operate alternately at varying intensities, the device delivers up to 2°C better cooling performance compared to the previous generation. This allows users to enjoy a longer-lasting cooling sensation without increasing the size of the device.

Comfort has also been enhanced through the introduction of Sony’s new Adaptive Hold Design. The redesigned neckband features improved flexibility, allowing it to conform more naturally to the user’s neck and movements. Soft silicone supporters at the ends of the neckband further improve comfort during extended wear.

To maximise cooling efficiency across different outfits, Sony has redesigned the detachable Air Vent Cover. Users can now adjust the vent’s length and angle to optimise heat exhaust, whether they are wearing a T-shirt, collared shirt, or business attire.

For added convenience, the REON POCKET 6 includes built-in buttons that allow users to switch modes, adjust temperature settings, and power the device on or off without needing to access their smartphone.

Joining the lineup as the new flagship model, the REON POCKET PRO Plus builds on the series’ proven technology with further refinements to deliver an even more personalised thermal experience.

Like the REON POCKET 6, the PRO Plus features the new Adaptive Hold Design neckband. However, Sony has further strengthened the holding force by approximately 40%, ensuring a more stable and secure fit during walking or light physical activity while maintaining comfort throughout the day.

The adjustable Air Vent Cover also returns on the flagship model, allowing users to customise airflow direction and heat dissipation based on their clothing and personal preferences while keeping the device discreetly hidden beneath collars.

Included with the REON POCKET PRO Plus is the latest REON POCKET TAG 2, a compact wearable sensor that measures ambient temperature and humidity. Approximately 18% smaller than its predecessor, the new TAG 2 can be attached to bags, clothing, or belt loops using its included carabiner, helping the system better understand environmental conditions and automatically optimise thermal performance.

The Sony REON POCKET 6 and REON POCKET PRO Plus will be available in Malaysia starting 22 June 2026 through Sony Store BBCC, Sony Store IOI City Mall, Sony Store The Curve, and Sony Store Online.

Each package includes the wearable thermo device, a dedicated neckband, and the REON POCKET TAG 2, giving users a complete solution for personalised temperature control wherever they go.
