Samsung New Galaxy Z Series and Wearables at Galaxy Unpacked 2025
July 22, 2025Samsung Electronics revealed its latest innovations at Galaxy Unpacked 2025 on July 9, introducing the all-new Galaxy Z series foldables and wearables. Designed to push the boundaries of design and technology, these devices reflect Samsung’s vision of a smarter, healthier future powered by Galaxy AI and connected wellness.
To dive deeper into these themes, Samsung hosted two panel sessions at the Galaxy Tech Forum in Brooklyn on July 10 — bringing together leaders from Samsung, Google, Qualcomm, Xealth, and more.
AI That Works Quietly in the Background
The first panel, “The Next Vision of AI: Ambient Intelligence,” explored how AI is evolving to become more natural and helpful — blending into everyday life without being intrusive.
Jisun Park, EVP at Samsung, shared that over 70% of Galaxy S25 users are already using Galaxy AI features. Samsung’s next step? Making AI smarter and more personal — able to predict your needs without you even asking. The goal is to bring Galaxy AI to 400 million devices by end of 2025.
Google’s Mindy Brooks spoke about how Gemini, their latest AI, works hand-in-hand with Galaxy devices to offer smarter help — using text, voice, and images to understand what you need.
Qualcomm’s Dr. Vinesh Sukumar highlighted that privacy and performance go hand-in-hand, and praised Samsung’s on-device AI approach for keeping user data secure.
The panel ended with a clear message: for AI to truly help, it must be trusted, secure, and feel personal.
The Future of Health Is Connected
The second panel, “The Next Chapter of Health,” focused on how Samsung is transforming digital health with wearables and AI-powered tools.
Dr. Hon Pak, Head of Samsung Digital Health, shared how Samsung is building a connected health system that links data from watches, rings, and phones directly to hospitals and healthcare providers — thanks to its recent acquisition of Xealth, a digital health platform already connected to over 500 hospitals.
Mike McSherry, CEO of Xealth, explained how your phone and wearables could soon replace devices like blood pressure monitors and oximeters, making care simpler and more accessible.
Dr. Rasu Shrestha from Advocate Health emphasized the need for collaboration across industries to make healthcare more proactive, personalized, and effective.
Samsung’s BioActive Sensor and SmartThings platform will play a key role in bringing remote monitoring, AI insights, and home care into one seamless experience.
Smarter Tech, Better Health, Stronger Ecosystem
Across both panels, one thing was clear: Samsung is building more than just devices — it’s creating an intelligent and secure ecosystem. Whether it’s AI that anticipates your needs or wearables that help monitor your health, Samsung is shaping a future where tech truly supports your life.
