With the new One UI 6.1 update, we are expanding premium mobile AI experiences initially introduced on the latest Galaxy S24 series to several generations of Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S23 and S22 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Flip4, and Galaxy Tab S9 and Galaxy Tab S8 series.
This move brings popular Galaxy AI features to more users worldwide, including Circle to Search with Google, Chat Assist, Interpreter, Live Translate, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, Browsing Assist, Generative Edit, Edit Suggestion, and AI-Generated Wallpaper.
Accelerating Updates to Galaxy AI to Support More Languages
Beyond just making features available across different devices, we want more users to benefit from Galaxy AI. In Southeast Asia and Oceania, users who speak Bahasa Indonesia, Australian English, and Cantonese will be able to download these newly supported languages and dialects, enhancing communication capabilities. This is in addition to languages such as English, Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese already supported by Galaxy AI.
