Lazada Malaysia Rallies Creators, Brands and Sellers for a More Trusted 2026

As it gears up for its Riang Bersama 3.3 sale and birthday campaign season, Lazada Malaysia is placing trust, authenticity and community at the heart of its 2026 strategy.

According to industry data by Google, Temasek and Bain & Company, Malaysia is now Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing digital economy, reaching US$39 billion and recording 19% year-on-year growth in 2025. Behind that headline figure, however, lies a more human story — one shaped by millions of everyday decisions about who to trust, which brands to support and which voices to follow.

Gongxi Raya, Kongsi Sukses: A Shared Vision for Growth

That story formed the centrepiece of Lazada Malaysia’s gathering, Gongxi Raya, Kongsi Sukses, which brought together homegrown entrepreneurs, around 100 digital creators, brand partners and community voices. Rather than a conventional brand showcase, the event focused on candid conversations about what sustains long-term growth in a fast-moving digital economy.

As a lead-up to Lazada’s 3.3 and birthday campaigns, the initiative highlights how ecosystems built on shared trust and collaboration can empower consumers to shop with greater confidence, awareness and assurance.

“2026 is about raising the standard of online shopping in Malaysia,” said Kaya Qin, Chief Executive Officer of Lazada Malaysia. She emphasized that beyond big campaign moments, Lazada aims to build LazMall into a trusted destination where authenticity and confidence are embedded in every purchase.

Elevating the Creator Community as a Pillar of Trust

A key highlight of the event was the formal recognition of creators as a core pillar of Lazada’s ecosystem. Rather than viewing creators merely as marketing channels, Lazada positions them as trusted voices who help consumers make informed and critical purchase decisions.

The talk show-style session featured perspectives from both brands and creators. Representing brands, Jimmy Sun, Head of Sales, Marketing and Operations at Jean Perry Malaysia, and Christy Ng, Founder and CEO of Christy Ng Shoes, shared how consistency, transparency and product quality shape long-term customer trust.

From the creator perspective, Lazada’s Exclusive Strategic Content Creator Partners, Vickie Siah and Stella Boo, spoke about building audience trust through credibility, relatability and responsible content. A clear theme emerged across discussions: visibility without credibility is short-lived, and growth without community is fragile.

Strengthening Trust Through Platform Safeguards

Lazada is translating these conversations into long-term commercial strategy. The platform continues to strengthen official brand and seller channels on LazMall, support responsible creator partnerships and enhance safeguards that provide consumers greater transparency over products and sellers.

Throughout 2026, Lazada Malaysia will champion informed shopping practices — encouraging consumers to prioritize trusted environments like LazMall, purchase from verified sellers, check authenticity labels, review ratings and feedback, and understand return and refund policies before completing transactions.

Riang Bersama 3.3: Deals with Greater Confidence

As Lazada approaches its Riang Bersama 3.3 sale, trust remains central to the shopping experience. From 8.00pm on 2 March, shoppers can explore LazMall’s wide assortment of global brands through verified stores with authenticity signals designed to reinforce purchase confidence.

Campaign highlights include:

  • Raya deals of up to 90% off under the Crazy Brand Mega Offer
  • Extra storewide vouchers on selected items
  • Up to 80% off international favourites via Global Brand Deals

Shoppers can also stock up on daily essentials through Mesti Beli deals at competitive prices. The RM13 All Out Surprise Deals unlock over RM130,000 worth of offers from brands including Habib, Ogawa and Ecovacs, available in limited quantities.

Adding to the excitement, the Surprise Box starts from RM3, featuring items worth up to RM600, while the Birthday Spend and Win contest offers prizes worth up to RM115,000.

Building a More Trusted Digital Economy

By bringing together creators, brands and sellers under a shared commitment to credibility and transparency, Lazada Malaysia is reinforcing its role in Malaysia’s fast-growing digital economy. As 2026 unfolds, the platform’s direction is clear: beyond deals and discounts, sustainable growth will be powered by trust, authenticity and informed purchasing.
