The exhibition also marked the official launch of the HUAWEI XMAGE Awards 2024, an annual competition that encourages creativity and imagination in smartphone photography. Now in its eighth year, the competition highlights Huawei’s XMAGE imaging technology, inviting participants to capture photographs that resonate emotionally and culturally.
Under the theme “A Heartwarming World,” the exhibition features nearly 300 photographs selected from millions of submissions, all taken with Huawei smartphones. These images depict moments of warmth, tranquility, and brightness from around the globe, showcasing the authenticity and relatability of everyday life. This exhibition embodies HUAWEI XMAGE’s brand philosophy, “The Power of Image,” which aims to inspire creativity and appreciation through superior imaging technology.
Over the past decade, Huawei has been at the forefront of mobile photography innovation, continuously evolving its technology. The exhibition includes works from Huawei’s smartphone series spanning the last 12 years, reflecting the rapid development in mobile imaging. The HUAWEI P Series has evolved into the HUAWEI Pura Series, combining ultimate photography, aesthetic design, and unique style. The HUAWEI Pura 70 Ultra, recently reviewed by DXOMARK, secured the top spot in the Smartphone Camera Rankings with a score of 163 points. This achievement underscores Huawei’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of mobile photography technology.

The HUAWEI Pura 70 Series redefines mobile photography with its Ultra Lighting camera system and Ultra Speed Snapshot feature, capable of capturing fast-moving scenes with precision.
