MBSB Bank Visa Debit Card-i Comes to Samsung Wallet, Making Tap-to-Pay Even Easier
August 15, 2026Paying with your Galaxy device is getting even more convenient as MBSB Bank’s Visa Debit Card-i is now available on Samsung Wallet in Malaysia.
The integration gives eligible Galaxy users a simple way to make contactless payments at participating Visa merchants locally and overseas, using their compatible smartphone or wearable device.
Just Add, Tap and Pay
With the MBSB Bank Visa Debit Card-i added to Samsung Wallet, users can leave their physical card behind and simply tap their Galaxy device at supported payment terminals.
Security is also built into the experience. Samsung Wallet uses tokenisation technology, replacing actual card details with a unique digital token during transactions. Payments are further protected by the security and authentication features built into Galaxy devices.
Matthew Ng, Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Malaysia Electronics, said Samsung Wallet is designed to bring everyday essentials together in one secure and convenient experience.

To celebrate the launch, MBSB Bank is running its “Tap Smart. Win Big.” campaign from 18 June to 31 August 2026.
Here’s what users can get:
- RM5 ZUS Coffee voucher when they add their MBSB Bank Visa Debit Card-i to Samsung Wallet and complete their first eligible contactless transaction.
- Chance to win a Samsung Galaxy Tab when they spend a minimum of RM30 in a single eligible transaction.
