The ‘Open always wins’ message, first introduced in January, embodies Samsung’s belief that openness leads to new perspectives and boundless possibilities. This philosophy will be central to its Paris 2024 initiatives. The campaign unveiled recently, brings ‘Open always wins’ to life through the journeys of Team Samsung Galaxy members Aurélien Giraud (France), Johannes Floors (Germany), and Sarah Bee (France), showcasing how openness enables extraordinary achievements.
TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics, expressed excitement about Samsung’s long-standing commitment to innovation and technology at the Games. He highlighted the evolution of the Games experience, emphasizing technology’s role in bringing the Olympic spirit to life. Roh stated that with the theme of ‘Games wide open,’ Samsung aims to offer new experiences and meaningful connections at Paris 2024 through the ‘Open always wins’ campaign.
Samsung also introduced the Olympic™️ rendezvous @ Samsung | Champs-Elysees 125, designed to immerse Olympic and Paralympic Games fans in the Paris 2024 journey through iconic experiences. Collaborating with architect Jean Nouvel, known for pushing boundaries like athletes, Samsung created a space celebrating openness and new possibilities. Inspired by Parisian Salons from the Age of Enlightenment, the design evokes feelings of openness, harmony, and connection through reflections and optical illusions.
The inauguration of the Olympic™️ rendezvous @ Samsung | Champs-Elysees 125 featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by key figures, including TM Roh, Team Samsung Galaxy ambassadors, and representatives from the IOC and Paris Organizing Committee for the 2024 Games.
