Samsung: The Next Chapter of AI Is About Making Everyday Life Simpler

Samsung is expected to unveil the next chapter of its AI vision during Galaxy Unpacked on 22 July 2026 in London, where the company will showcase how AI is becoming more personal, connected and intuitive.

Samsung envisions AI extending beyond individual devices to create a seamless connected ecosystem. Instead of smartphones, wearables, televisions and home appliances working independently, AI enables them to communicate and collaborate to provide smarter and more personalised experiences.

At the centre of this ecosystem is SmartThings, Samsung’s connected platform that links compatible devices and services together. By sharing information across devices, SmartThings helps simplify everyday tasks while responding intelligently to different situations.

For example, Samsung’s Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub can help users monitor groceries, keep track of food items and make shopping more convenient. Meanwhile, Galaxy devices such as the Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Watch work with Samsung Health to provide sleep insights and personalised fitness recommendations, helping users build healthier daily habits.

Entertainment also becomes more personalised through Samsung Vision AI, which intelligently adapts TV settings based on viewing preferences to create a more enjoyable home entertainment experience.

While AI now powers a wide range of connected devices, Samsung believes the smartphone remains the primary gateway to AI experiences.

Galaxy AI is designed to move beyond basic digital assistance by helping users organise tasks, provide timely suggestions and simplify everyday activities without requiring constant manual input.

Rather than simply responding to commands, Samsung envisions AI becoming a proactive assistant that understands context and helps users make decisions more efficiently throughout the day.

As AI becomes more deeply integrated into daily life, Samsung continues to place privacy and security at the forefront of its ecosystem.

Sensitive personal data remains protected on Galaxy devices, giving users greater transparency and control over how their information is used. Samsung’s Knox Matrix security platform further strengthens protection by securing connected Galaxy smartphones, tablets, TVs and smart home appliances within a unified ecosystem.

Samsung also believes foldable smartphones will play an increasingly important role in the future of AI.

With larger flexible displays, foldable devices offer more space for multitasking, AI-powered productivity and immersive content experiences. The additional screen real estate enables users to interact with multiple applications simultaneously while allowing AI to deliver richer and more contextual experiences.

Ahead of the launch, Samsung Malaysia is inviting customers to register their interest for the upcoming Galaxy devices from 8 to 22 July 2026. Customers who complete their registration will receive an RM120 e-voucher and stand a chance to win prizes worth up to RM62,944.

Customers can also purchase a Samsung Reservation+ Voucher from 8 to 24 July 2026. By paying RM50, customers will receive a RM250 voucher that can be redeemed towards the purchase of Samsung’s next Galaxy Foldable device.
