Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Durability and Visual Clarity

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. and Corning Incorporated have announced a significant upgrade for the upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra devices. These new models will be equipped with Corning’s latest innovation, Corning® Gorilla® Armor, a cover material that promises unmatched durability and improved visual clarity. This development is a testament to the longstanding partnership between Samsung and Corning, which has advanced technology for over 50 years.

The new Gorilla Armor cover material is a leap forward in smartphone screen technology. It significantly reduces screen reflections, enhancing the display readability, especially in sunlight. This innovation addresses the growing demand for durable yet visually superior phone screens.

Kwangjin Bae from Samsung Electronics highlighted the progress made through the partnership with Corning in achieving greater durability in Samsung products. Meanwhile, David Velasquez of Corning Gorilla Glass emphasized how Gorilla Armor combines Corning’s technical expertise with Samsung’s user-centric design philosophy.

This collaboration has been fruitful over the years, with Corning Gorilla Glass featuring in numerous Samsung devices, including the latest Galaxy S23 Series the Galaxy Z Fold5, and Z Flip5.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra with Gorilla Armor is available for pre-order until February 6, 2024, with various models and color options. The top-tier 1TB model is priced at RM7,799, offering exclusive colors and various promotional benefits, including e-vouchers, trade-in offers, and discounts on other Samsung products.
