DHL Supply Chain Partners with Stellantis to Boost Regional Automotive
November 26, 2024DHL Supply Chain, a global leader in contract logistics, has been appointed by Stellantis, one of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers, as its logistics partner to manage a Regional Parts Distribution Centre (RPDC) in Malaysia. This collaboration supports Stellantis’ expansion strategy across the Asia Pacific region while solidifying Malaysia’s status as a key automotive hub.
Strategic Location and Purpose
The new 18,000-square-meter warehouse, located in a Malaysian Free Trade Zone, will serve as a regional hub for distributing parts and providing after-sales support across 20 countries in the India and Asia Pacific region, including major markets like Malaysia. This setup aims to improve lead times and ensure better parts availability for Stellantis brands, which include Peugeot, Citroën, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, RAM, and more.
