Isuzu Malaysia Sdn Bhd Launches ‘Truck for Life’ Blood Donation Drive Nationwide

Isuzu Malaysia Sdn Bhd (IMSB) has officially launched its ‘Truck for Life’ blood donation campaign as part of its 2026 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, supporting the ongoing mission of the National Blood Centre Malaysia to maintain a stable and sufficient blood supply across the country.

The nationwide initiative will travel across Malaysia, making scheduled stops at ISUZU dealerships to provide convenient access for customers, employees, and the public to donate blood. Supported by dealers nationwide, the campaign is set to cover both Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia, with rollout beginning in the second quarter of 2026.

According to Masashi Nuijima, Chief Operating Officer of IMSB, the initiative reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to meaningful community engagement.

“Over the years, IMSB has implemented a wide range of CSR initiatives aimed at supporting communities and creating positive social impact. This year, the ‘Truck for Life’ 2026 Blood Donation Campaign is one of our key efforts to encourage more Malaysians to step forward as blood donors,” he said.

Strong Start in Petaling Jaya

The campaign kicked off at IMSB’s headquarters in Damansara Uptown, where the first stop successfully collected 15 litres of blood in a single day, marking a positive start for the nationwide rollout.

Following the launch, the campaign will continue its journey across ISUZU’s dealer network, expanding access to donation opportunities and encouraging wider public participation.

Supporting a Critical National Need

The National Blood Centre Malaysia continues to call on Malaysians to donate blood regularly, as hospitals nationwide require between 15,000 and 17,000 bags of blood daily to support medical emergencies, surgeries, and ongoing treatments.

“For ISUZU Malaysia, we carry a strong sense of responsibility to give back through purposeful initiatives,” added Nuijima. “The trust of Malaysians has positioned ISUZU as the No.1 truck brand in the country for over 14 consecutive years. Through ‘Truck for Life’, we hope to inspire more people to contribute to saving lives while strengthening community spirit.”

The ‘Truck for Life’ campaign is part of IMSB’s broader ESG commitment to community well-being. Over the years, the company has carried out various initiatives, including environmental conservation efforts such as tree planting, as well as outreach programmes supporting underprivileged groups, orphanages, and elderly homes.
