Xiaomi New 17 Series and Expands Its Vision
March 4, 2026At its latest launch event, Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi 17 Series, highlighting its newest breakthroughs in performance, design, and mobile imaging.
Alongside the series, Xiaomi also revealed the Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi, strengthening its long-term partnership with Leica. Beyond smartphones, Xiaomi showcased the futuristic Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo, created for the legendary Gran Turismo 7 franchise.
A Stronger Xiaomi × Leica Partnership
Xiaomi announced a major upgrade to its collaboration with Leica. What started as a Joint R&D partnership has now evolved into a Strategic Co-creation Model.
This means deeper collaboration from design to software — aiming to deliver a more professional and refined mobile photography experience.
Both the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and Leica Leitzphone are built under this new model, combining advanced imaging performance with premium design and durability.

Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo Concept
Xiaomi also unveiled its first electric hypercar concept for the Vision Gran Turismo project.
