The Large Model Systems Organization, a prominent evaluator of language models and chatbots, recently acclaimed Bard with Gemini Pro as one of the most preferred chatbots available, regardless of cost. They noted a “stunning leap” in its capabilities, and blind evaluations with third-party raters ranked Bard with Gemini Pro among the top-performing conversational AIs, surpassing leading free and paid alternatives.

Bard users now have an enhanced experience with the expansion of the double-check feature to over 40 languages. Clicking on the “G” icon allows Bard to evaluate responses against web content, providing users with the ability to verify information across a broader linguistic spectrum.

In a move towards creativity, Bard introduces image generation in English, available in most countries worldwide at no cost. Powered by the updated Imagen 2 model, this feature balances quality and speed to deliver high-quality, photorealistic visual outputs. Users can now bring their ideas to life by typing in a description, such as “create an image of a dog riding a surfboard,” and Bard will generate custom visuals to complement the creative process.
